Alan has studied Tai Chi and Chi Gung for a number of years, initially practicing Lee Style Tai Chi with Chris Simpson & the late Chee Soo. More recently from the year 2002 Alan has practised under the guidance of Debbie Wild of the Swan School of Tai Chi and Chi Gung in Stratford on Avon, studying both Yang Style 36 step Tai Chi, Chen Style Laojia Tai Chi, and Chi Gung. Alan has studied with Grand Master Chen Xiao Wang, on Master Chen’s annual visits to the UK in Chen Style Laojia Tai Chi, Yin Yang Chi Gung, and Silk Reeling exercises. He has also practised Chen Style Laojia with the late John Llewellyn. |

Alan has taken Chen Style Laojia Tai Chi classes and Chi Gung classes with Eva and Karel Koskuba of the Chinese Internal Arts Association, & early in 2008 he began their 3 year advanced instructor training course in Therapeutic Chi Gung & Chen style Laojia. Alan’s main teachers are Debbie Wild, Eva and Karel Koskuba and he would like to acknowledge their expertise & continued support. Since moving to the Borders of Wales Alan has continued his study and practice of Tai Chi and Chi Gung, he now feels the time is right to pass on this information by teaching local weekly classes in Chi Gung and Tai Chi Movements. |
