Faye Hampson has been studying Tai Chi and Chi Gung since 2004 under the guidance of Debbie Wild at the Swan School of Tai Chi and Chi Gung in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Looking for a mental and physical relaxation from her job as a Graphic Designer, Faye began studying Chen style Tai Chi & Chi Gung with Debbie Wild.  With a background in dance, childhood & teenage years spent studying ballet, modern, contemporary and Irish dance.  Faye soon became interested in the fluid movements, performance aspects, as well as the martial applications, to the Tai Chi Forms.

In 2009 with encouragement and guidance from Debbie, Judith and Paul, Faye has commenced the Advanced Instructors training in Chen style Tai Chi with the Chinese Internal Arts Association in Berkshire under the tutelage of Eva and Karel Koskuba.  Faye is fully insured to teach.

Faye would like to thank all at Swan Tai Chi for all their continued guidance, advise and friendship.

As part of her ongoing continual development she attends lectures, seminars and workshops to study the practical and theoretical principals of Tai Chi. Faye has completed the 74-move Old Chen (Laojia Yilu), Chen Style Fan, & Single Sabre forms, and is learning the Double Sabre form and Push Hands (Tui Shou).
